A Commanding Presence

Interior and landscape designers put a fresh face on the Commandant's House at the Charlestown Navy Yard for the Junior League of Boston's 32nd annual Decorators' Show House. On April 17, 350 guests toured 30 transformed rooms of the nearly 200-year-old historic landmark. Proceeds benefit the league's primary focus - the positive development of adolescent girls. This year, nearly 30,000 visitors are expected to tour the Commandant's House, which is operated by the National Park Service.
